Are mirrored wardrobes hard to maintain / keep clean?
Just like the other mirrors in your home, mirrored wardrobes are easy to maintain and simple to clean. For cleaning, we recommend wiping the mirror down with a clean microfiber cloth before spraying the mirror with either a glass cleaner or a mixture of equal parts water and vinegar. Wipe down once more with a clean microfiber cloth and your mirrored wardrobe will be free of dust, streaks and fingerprints. To best maintain your wardrobe, avoid cleaning with harsh chemicals and scratching the mirror with abrasive objects.
Are mirror wardrobes safe and durable?
Yes, mirror wardrobes are both safe and durable when designed and installed by experts like those that work at Drumm Carpentry. We use tempered glass which is much stronger and therefore safer than regular glass. Tempered glass is heat-treated to increase its strength, and in the unlikely event of breakage, it shatters into small, less harmful pieces instead of long sharp shards.
